European Shipments of Graphic Papers Fell 8.9% in August

Sept. 26, 2013 - EURO-GRAPH, the European Association of Graphic Paper Producers, published its monthly statistics of the European Graphic Papers Industry, which showed total shipments of graphic papers in August 2013 declined 8.9% percent compared to August of 2012.

In August, total European shipments of Newsprint fell 11.2 percent compared to August of 2012.

Total shipments of SC-Magazine paper in August declined 5.8 percent compared to the same month last year.

Total Shipments of Coated Mechanical Reels were down 11.0% in August versus August 2012.

On an upward note, shipments of Uncoated Mechanical papers in August were up 1.0% over the same month last year.
