Russian Regulators OK Deal for Bank of Moscow to Acquire Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill

Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill is Russia's largest producer of kraft paper and paper sacks.

Sept. 5, 2013 - Russia's competition authorities have cleared a deal for the Bank of Moscow to acquire the remaining 49.99% stake in Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill — Russia’s largest producer of kraft paper and paper sacks.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (FAS) has issued approval to the AKB Bank Moskvy (Bank of Moscow) to acquire the remaining 49.99% stake in Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill (SPPM).

The acquisition will give the bank 100% control of the Russian sack kraft paper manufacturer.
