The Newark Group to Hike Price for All Coated Grades of Recycled Paperboard

Feb. 28, 2013 - The Newark Group announced a $40 per ton price increase on all coated grades of recycled paperboard effective with shipments on or after April 2, 2013.

“The increase is necessary due to the escalating costs of raw materials, freight and energy,” said Raymond Vargo, Jr., Vice President of Sales, Newark Paperboard Mills.

The Newark Group is an integrated producer of 100% recycled paperboard and paperboard products in the U.S. and Canada.
