Arctic Paper to Hike Price for UWF and CWF Paper Grades

Feb. 16, 2012 - Arctic Paper said that it will increase pricing on all of its UWF (Uncoated Woodfree) and CWF (Coated Woodfree) paper grades, both in sheets and reels, by 5-6%.

The new pricing will vary depending on country and paper grade, Arctic said.

Arctic said that despite taking several measures to further reduce costs and increase efficiency, current manufacturing cost levels and cost increases for transportation and raw material make a paper price increase unavoidable.

The price increase will be implemented for all markets and deliveries effective March 15, 2012.
