Paper2012 to Be Held in New York City, March 25-27

The Paper Industry Will Come Together at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park

Nov. 17, 2011 - The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) and the NPTA Alliance announced they will host Paper2012 in New York City, March 25-27, 2012.

Paper2012 is the premier annual event for the paper industry and is hosted in partnership between AF&PA and the NPTA Alliance. Event information can be accessed at

“The paper and paper-based packaging industry offers sustainable products that meet the needs of everyday life for people across the country and around the world,” said AF&PA President and CEO Donna Harman. “Paper2012 will bring together members of the industry to participate in a dialogue on the issues affecting our products and businesses.”

The Paper2012 host hotel will be The Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park, and an additional room block is available at the Conrad New York. Early registration is now open and available at The early registration period runs through March 1.

“Paper2012 will bring representatives across the supply chain to interact with their colleagues and discuss their priorities,” said NPTA CEO Kevin Gammonley. “This will be the one event in 2012 where leaders from across the industry can come together to discuss ways to advance their respective companies’ interest as well as that of our industry.”

  • Opening Session: Scott Klososky – An entrepreneur, former CEO of three startup companies, and visionary in the area of technology will enlighten participants on the industry-wide impact and consequences of embracing emerging technologies and social media.

Tuesday, March 27, 2012

  • Luncheon Session: Donna Brazile and Dana Perino – The notable Democratic and Republican voices will give a point/counterpoint perspective on the political landscape, the impending 2012 election, and the possible impact to business.
