E.C.H. Will and Pemco to Supply Two Cut-Size Lines to JK Paper in India

JK Paper opted for two modern 8-pocket cut-size lines from E.C.H. Will and Pemco.

Oct. 18, 2011 - As part of an expansion program, Indian paper manufacturer JK Paper has purchased two cut-size lines from E.C.H. Will and Pemco, which will allow the company to increase its copy paper capacity.

The value of the order was not disclosed.

The two lines will be installed at JK Paper Mills in Jaykaypur, Rayagada, Orissa (eastern India), and are scheduled to begin operation in the fall of 2012.

Both 8-pocket lines will provide highly efficient production of A4 copy papers. Each line will include six unwind stands with automatic roll change and generator brakes, dual slitter from E.C.H. Will as well as a high-speed packaging line from Pemco.

JK Paper Ltd. is India’s largest producer of branded papers and a leading player in the Fine Papers and Packaging Board segments. It operates two integrated pulp and paper mills in India, JK Paper Mills in Rayagada, Orissa, in eastern India and Central Pulp Mills in Songadh, Gujarat, in western India with a combined manufacturing capacity of 264,000 tonnes per year, using contemporary technology.
