Fibria Sells Piracicaba Paper Mill to Oji Paper for $313 Million

Sept. 22, 2011 - Fibria today entered into a Qouta Purchase and Sale Agreement with Oji Paper Co., Ltd., on an irrevocable basis, for the sale, by Fibria, of the assets that comprise Fibria's paper mill complex located in the city of Piracicaba, State of Sao Paulo in Brazil.

The sale price of the deal is USD 313,000,000 million.

The Piracicaba mill has the capacity to produce 160,000 tons per year of carbonless and uncoated woodfree papers. The mill is also ISO 14001-certified.

Fibria expects to close the deal on September 29, 2011.
