Botnia to Take Scheduled Maintenance Downtime at All Pulp Mills

Aug. 24, 2011 - Botnia said that it will take scheduled maintenance downtime at its pulp mills in September and October.

The downtime will reduce the company's total pulp production by 60,000 tons.

All of Botnia's mills will be involved in the maintenance schedule.

Botnia manufactures bleached pulp grades at four mills in Finland. The combined production capacity of the mills in Joutseno, Kemi, Rauma and Aanekoski is 2.4 million tonnes.

Botnia is owned by M-real Oyj, Metsaliitto Osuuskunta, and UPM-Kymmene Oyj.
