Buckman to Increase Pricing Globally on all Products, Programs

June 15, 2011 - Memphis, Tennessee-based chemical producer Buckman said that it will increase pricing globally by 20% on all of its products and programs.

Pricing adjustments will depend on the specific product or program and region of the world, Buckman said.

Increases will be effective July 1, 2011.

In a written statement, the company said, "This price increase, which is driven by mounting raw material, transportation, and energy costs, will enable Buckman to continue to provide the high quality service and support that our customers expect. Buckman will work closely with customers to leverage our innovative practices and unique application expertise in an effort to defray the impact of these increases."
