Stora Enso to Invest EUR 90 Million in Wood Handling Project at Skoghall Mill

April 20, 2011 - Stora Enso said that it will spend about EUR 90 million to build a new woodroom and woodyard at its Skoghall Mill in Sweden.

Currently, the Skoghall mill has an annual wood handling capacity of 1.9 million m3.

The project is scheduled for completion by the end of the fourth quarter of 2012.

The Skoghall mill produces coated carton board for consumer packaging, such as liquid packaging board and board for dry foodstuffs, on two board machines — KM 7 and KM 8. The mill has the capacity to produce over 700,000 tons of paperboard per year .
