Burrows Paper Completes Rebuild of #41 Paper Machine
March 8, 2011 - Burrows Paper said that recently completed an extensive rebuild of its #41 paper machine in Pickens, Mississippi.
According to Burrows, the project was completed in December and included the installation of a new 15’ MG cylinder and integrated MG hood. A new winder was also installed to accommodate the increased speed and output of the paper machine.
Burrows operates five paper machines in four mills throughout New York and Mississippi, maintaining the highest standards with ISO and FSC certifications.The company is capable of producing very light weight printable tissue paper from 7.5 pounds up to 30 pounds.
Burrows offers MG and MF paper grades that are used in a variety of applications that include medical and food packaging, as well as many industrial grade papers.
