Feb. 16, 2011 - Wisconsin-based Resource One International said that it has expanded its paper converting capabilities with the installation of an 88-inch Jagenburg Synchro Precision Folio Sheeter.

According to Resource One, the new sheeter is currently the largest of its type in operation by a contract converting company in North America and is known for its range of capabilities — dual slitters, dual rotary knives for precision accuracy and cut quality, web vacuums for dust control, and static controls for coated sheets and films.

"We are excited to bring this cutting-edge technology to our customers who are seeking precision cut materials for their printing, general consumer packaging and food container packaging needs," said Tom Sonntag, president of Resource One.

Since opening its doors in 1981 as a small packaging and assembly firm in Northeast Wisconsin, Resorce One (www.resoneint.com) has grown over the years into a globally recognized provider of precision paper converting services. The company currently operates a 200,000 square-foot paper converting facility in Little Chute, Wisconsin that features cut-size sheeters, cross-over folio sheeters and packaging lines.
