Shandong Huatai Paper's PM 8 Starts-up Successfully
Jan. 28, 2011 - Metso said that the coated fine paper production line that it supplied to Shandong Huatai Paper Co. Ltd started-up successfully on Jan 18. The mill is located in Dong Ying City, Shandong Province, China. The new PM 8, a Metso OptiConcept machine, has an annual dimensional production capacity of close to 700,000 tonnes of coated and uncoated fine papers within the basis weight range of 80 to 200 g/m2.
The 8.1-meter-wide paper machine has a design speed of 1,800 m/min. The new off-machine coater has a design speed of 2,000 m/min. Shandong Huatai Paper Co. Ltd. is a member of the Huatai Group. SOURCE: Metso |
