Dec. 2, 2010 - BASF said that it will increase kaolin prices globally for paper applications, effective immediately or as contracts allow.

The increase will be dependent on the product, with increases up to 7 percent for hydrous and calcined products, BASF said.

BASF added that its energy surcharge policy remains unchanged with the threshold at $5/mmbtu.
