Caraustar to Hike Prices on Paperboard Converted Products
Oct. 22, 2010 - Caraustar Industries said that it will increase prices on paperboard converted products, which includes Paperboard Tubes & Cores, in the U.S. and Canada. An increase of 4% is effective with shipments on or after November 22, Caraustar said. Caraustar said the increase is a result of recent price increases on uncoated recycled paperboard. Caraustar Industries is one of North America's largest integrated manufacturers of 100% recycled paperboard and converted paperboard products. The company serves the four principal recycled boxboard product end-use markets: tubes and cores; folding cartons; gypsum facing paper and specialty paperboard products.
