Metsa Tissue to Increase Tissue Capacity at Mantta Mill
Oct. 6, 2010 - Metsa Tissue said that it will significantly increase the company's Away-from-Home capacity with an investment of about EUR 7 million at its Mantta mill in Finland
Specific details of the mill project were not disclosed.
“By enhancing our offering and product availability, the coming investment will directly support the Katrin brand's growth targets,” said Christoph Zeiler, senior vice president, Away-from-Home.
“This regional investment will have a Europe-wide impact. It will help us to enlarge our foothold in our key markets and strengthen the Katrin brand presence there," said Zeiler. "Additionally the investment will improve the Mänttä mill's cost efficiency.”
Completion of the mill project is scheduled for the first quarter of 2012.
