U.S. Kraft Paper Shipments Increased in August
Sept. 15, 2010 - In August, total U.S. Kraft paper shipments were 136,200 tons, an increase of 7.5% compared to August 2009, and July 2010, according to the American Forest & Paper Association's August 2010 Kraft Paper Sector Report. Total year-to-date Kraft paper shipments rose 15.1% over last year, the report said. Total inventory was up 2.8% from last month. Additional key findings from the report include:
