Sodra Hikes Price for Hardwood Pulp by USD 30
Jan. 22, 2010 - Sodra today announced a USD 30 per tonne price increase for hardwood pulp. The new price is effective Feb. 1 and moves the price up to $760 per tonne.
The Swedish pulp maker said the pulp market continues to be strong with low stocks and good supply/demand balance.
Sodra has an annual pulp production capacity of over 2 million tonnes per year — 80 percent softwood and 20 percent hardwood grades. The company operates five mills; three in Sweden and two in Norway.
