PM 2 at Sappi's Stockstadt Mill to Restart by End-February

Jan. 13, 2010 - Sappi said that it expects to resume production on PM 2 at the company's Stockstadt mill in Germany by the end of February, according to a news story from EUWID.

A fire that occurred in the last week of December disrupted production on both of the mill's paper machines, however PM 1 restarted one day after the fire, EUWID said.

The Stockstadt mill has a production capacity of 430,000 tpy of coated and uncoated fine paper, and 150,000 tpy of chlorine-free bleached beech sulfite pulp.
