Kruger to Take Directory Paper Downtime at Wayagamack Mill

Nov. 28, 2009 - Kruger Inc. on Friday said that it will take two months of production downtime on paper machine number 3 at its Wayagamack Mill in Trois- Rivieres, Quebec, Canada.

The downtime will begin on December 23, with a restart slated for February 23, 2010.

About 100 employees will be affected by the downtime.

Kruger said this decision resulted from the high value of the Canadian dollar and the currently weak demand for directory paper.

PM 3 has an annual capacity of about 74,000 metric tonnes of directory paper.
