Nov. 10, 2009 - Pulp prices this week in North America jumped up on average by over US $20 per ton from last week's price, according Finland's FOEX.

The average price for NBSK in North America moved to $818.14 per ton, a $21.63 increase from last week.

FOEX said the pulp market in North America is seeing benefits from an uptick in some grades of printing papers, such as uncoated freesheet and some coated grades, along with lower inventories of pulp.
