Botnia Taking One-Month Downtime at Rauma Pulp Mill

July 10, 2009 - Metsa-Botnia's pulp mill in Rauma, Finland is shutting down for one month, effective today, according to a news report on EUWID.

Production is scheduled to restart on August 10.

A Botnia spokesperson said the shutdown was market related.

The Rauma mill has an annual production capacity of 630,000 tonnes of ECF bleached softwood pulp on one line.

The mill employees 125 workers.
