April 24, 2009 - Botnia said that it will increase its prices for NBSK (Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft), bleached birch and bleached eucalyptus pulp in Europe.

Effective May 1, NBSK will be USD 600, bleached birch, USD 500; and bleached eucalyptus, USD 500. All prices are per ton, CIF Botnia's usual European ports.

Currently, the average price for NBSK in Europe is about USD 580 per ton, according to Finland's FOEX.
