Mitsubishi Paper Mills Settles Patent Dispute with Diatec

Feb. 25, 2009 - Tokyo-based Mitsubishi Paper Mills Limited (MPM) said that it has signed a settlement agreement with Diatec Holding resolving a patent dispute between the parties.

The dispute involved legal action initiated by MPM in Germany against Diatecís subsidiaries, Sihl GmbH, Sihl Direct GmbH and Sihl AG.

MPM said that it owns a wide range of intellectual property rights in the inkjet media segment and will continue to defend those rights.
