Tembec Taking Newsprint Downtime at Pine Falls Mill

Dec. 18, 2008 - Tembec said that it will shut down its Pine Falls, Manitoba, Canada newsprint mill for two weeks during the Christmas holiday break.

The mill will stop production on December 21 and restart on January 5, 2009, the company said.

The Pine Falls mill produces 185,000 tons per year of newsprint.
