SP Newsprint Plans Capacity Cuts in 2009
Dec. 17, 2008 - SP Newsprint Co.said that it will take market related downtime at its two paper mills in the first quarter of 2009. The planned shutdowns will result in approximately 25,000 metric tons of reduced newsprint production.

The company said it will maintain adequate inventories to ensure that its customers will not experience any service interruptions during the shutdowns.
