Fraser Papers to Take Pulp Downtime at Thurso Mill
Nov 25, 2008 - Fraser Papers said that it plans to take up to 14,000 tonnes of market-related downtime at its hardwood kraft pulp mill in Thurso, Quebec, Canada.
The shutdown will help the company balance pulp inventory to customer orders, Fraser said.
Fraser plans to close the mill on December 15, 2008 and restart operations on January 6, 2009, subject to orders.
