MWV Names Mark Lewis as CFO of Real Estate Unit
Nov. 24, 2008 - MeadWestvaco Corp. (MWV) said that it has named Mark Lewis as the new chief financial officer for MWV Community Development and Land Management Group, effective November 10.
In this role, Lewis will focus on enhanced strategic planning, as well as overseeing financial analysis, reporting, and operations and information systems support, MWV said.
Lewis joins MWV with nearly thirty years of experience in a variety of real estate market sectors, including land acquisition and development, residential, commercial, office, retail, and hospitality. His past work includes serving as CFO with the Paramount Group in New York where he negotiated and closed approximately $3 billion in financings. He began his career with Arthur Andersen as an audit manager in the real estate and banking industries and most recently served as COO for Cortland Partners in Atlanta, Georgia.
Lewis graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia at Athens and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
