Oct. 6, 2008 - Metso Paper said that Syktyvkar Tissue Group has started-up a new tissue machine, PM 2, at its mill in Syktyvkar, Republic of Komi, in northwestern Russia.

The new machine came on-stream September 17.

PM 2 is a 2.7-meter-wide tissue machine with a design speed of 1,600 m/min and a daily production capacity of 60 - 90 tons.
