Kruger Cutting Coated Paper Production in Canada
Sept. 24, 2008 - Kruger Inc. announced that it will reduce coated paper production by 17,000 tonnes at its Trois-Rivières Mill, from October 1, 2008 to February 1, 2009.
The capacity adjustment reflects curent market conditions, Kruger said.
Combined with recent curtailments at the Trois-Rivières and Wayagamack mills, this decision will result in a total coated paper reduction of approximately 40,000 tonnes, which represent 10% of the
company’s annual coated paper output, Kruger added.
