Aug. 13, 2008 - Ahlstrom has named Jan Lång (51) as president chief executive of the company, effective January 1, 2009

Lång joins Ahlstrom from Uponor Corporation, where he has served as president and CEO. Prior to Uponor, he worked at Huhtamaki Corp. in various senior executive positions.

Ahlstrom said Risto Anttonen will continue as CEO until December 31, 2008, after which he will assume the role of deputy CEO and continue as a member of the corporate executive team until his planned retirement in 2010.
