Graphic Packaging to Boost Price for Some Paperboard Grades

June 24, 2008 - Graphic Packaging International has announced price increases for its coated unbleached kraft (CUK) grades to cover higher costs for mill inputs, including fiber, energy and chemicals.

The company also said that it would set new freight allowances.

The price $40 per ton price increase will apply to its Pearl-KoteŽ and Omni-KoteŽ coated unbleached kraft paperboard used for food packaging, and Aqua-KoteŽ paperboard used for beverage carriers, effective with shipments on or after August 1, 2008.
