June 10, 2008 - Tembec announced that Chris Black has been appointed executive vice president and president of the company’s Paper Group. The Tembec Paper Group consists of three main facilities, including two newsprint mills in Kapuskasing, Ont., and Pine Falls, Manitoba, and the Temboard operation in Temiscaming. Group capacity totals approximately 600,000 metric tpy of newsprint and coated paperboard.

Black joined Tembec in 2000 as vice president, Sales and Marketing, Newsprint Division, and was appointed senior vice president, Newsprint Division in November 2004, the position he held until this appointment.
