Voith to Deliver Two Paper Machines in China

April 30, 2008 - Voith Paper said that it has received an order from Yueyang Paper in China for two paper machines.

The value of the order is approximately EUR 85 million, Voith said.

The new machines, PM 9 and PM 10, are identical and will be built according to Voith's one-platform concept. The machines will have a wire width of 5.85 meters and design speed of 1,400 m/min. Each machine will have the capacity to produce 200,000 tons per year of printing paper, Voith added.

Machine start-ups are scheduled for the third quarter of 2009.
