April 16, 2008 - SCA announced that Sune Lundin will join the company as senior vice president - business development and strategy.

Currently, Lundin holds a similar position at Boliden, a Swedish mining and smelting company.

As head of SCA's business development and strategy corporate staff, Lundin will, in addition to these areas, also be responsible for acquisitions, business intelligence and sustainability, SCA said.

Lundin has extensive business experience, including positions at Vattenfall and IBM, where he held a number of senior positions. His experience also includes serving as President in the telecom and IT sector, SCA added.

Lundin will assume his position at SCA by August 1.
