Stora Enso Furthers Intent to Build Mill in Russia
Dec. 21, 2007 - Stora Enso yesterday said that it has signed a letter of intent with the Nizhny Novgorod regional administration in Russia for a proposed paper and pulp mill in the region.
In July 2007, Stora Enso announced that it would conduct pre-feasibility study for a pulp and paper mill complex in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.
The non-binding agreement is the logical continuation of the pre-feasibility study, Stora said.
The proposed mill would produce paper for Russian consumers from Russian wood, Stora added.
