Dec. 5, 2007 - Market pulp producer Rottneros said that Ole Terland has been named as its new chief executive officer. He succeeds Lars Blecko, who is leaving the company to become CEO at Loomis.

Terland joins the company from SCA and will take up his new post at the beginning of January.

Terland, who holds a Licentiate in Engineering degree in the subject of pulp and paper technology, has held various management positions within a number of different product areas in the SCA Group over the past 20 years, including fine paper, magazine paper, packaging and tissue, and was manager of the tissue division in Europe for a time. His most recent post was Senior Vice President Technology at SCA's head office in Stockholm.
