Dec. 4, 2007 - Nalco said that it is implementing minimum price increases of 8-12 percent on specialty chemicals sold to paper industry customers, effective January 1.

The Naperville, Illinois-based company said the price hikes are driven by the increase in energy costs over the past six months, which have impacted raw materials, freight and manufacturing costs.
