Nov. 22, 2007 - Metso Paper said it will supply a new, energy efficient thermo-mechanical pulping line to SCA's Ortviken paper mill in Sweden. The new line will have a capacity of 440 tonnes/day and is to be commissioned in the second quarter of 2009.

The order is valued at more than EUR 15 million, Metso said.

The delivery involves primary refining, separate reject refining and new screen room, as well as erection, start-up, training and commissioning.

The Ortviken paper mill produces newsprint and light weight coated (LWC) paper. The total TMP capacity will be more than 2,500 tonnes/day.
