Pöyry to Provide Engineering for Portucel's Mill Project

Nov. 1, 2007 - Pöyry said it has been selected as the main engineering consultant for Portucel's new paper mill project in Portugal. The new uncoated fine paper production line will be built at Portucel's existing pulp and paper mill site in Setubal.

The value of the contract is about EUR 10 million, Pöyry said.

According to Pöyry, the mill project starts immediately with start-up expected by the third quarter of 2009.

The new machine to be installed will produce about 500,000 tpy of office papers.
