Nov. 1, 2007 - Glatfelter yesterday said it will increase pricing on all its composite fibers products during the fourth quarter of 2007.

The company said the increases will apply to all non-confirmed orders and to all products within composite fibers: food and beverage, composite laminates and technical specialty papers as well as metallized products.

The level of price increases will depend on the nature of the product, Glatfelter added.

“Input costs, particularly for raw materials and energy, continue to rise, many to all-time record high levels. We have and will continue to take actions necessary to mitigate the impact of these increases on our customers.” said Martin Rapp, vice president and general manager for Glatfelter's Composite Fibers Business Unit.
