Oct. 18, 2007 - Stora Enso said its third quarter 2007 financial results have been negatively impacted high wood and recycled fiber costs and a weakening U.S. dollar.

The Helsinki-based papermaker warned that third quarter results will be slightly below those in the third quarter of 2006, and the company expects high wood and recycled fiber cost pressure to continue during the fourth quarter 2007.

Stora Enso will issue third quarter results October 25.
