Sept. 19, 2007 - Metso Paper said that it will supply Lee & Man Paper Co. with a kraftliner board machine at its Hongmei mill in Guangdong province, China.

The value of the order is about EUR 40 million, Metso said.

The new PM 17, a 3-ply board machine, will have an annual capacity of 400,000 metric tons.

Start-up is expected in early 2009.

Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is one of China's largest containerboard producers. The company, founded in 1994, operates three containerboard mills with a combined annual production capacity of 2.2 million metric tons.
