Billerud Names New Manager at Gruvon Mill, Sweden

Aug. 23, 2007 - Billerud said that it has named Per Bjurbom as the new manager of the company's Gruvon mill in Sweden, effective December 1.

Bjurbom joins Billerud from Holmen Paper, where he was site manager at the Hallsta mill. Prior to that, he was site manager at Stora Enso's Skoghall mill.

The current mill manager at Gruvon, Anders Snell, will return to Billerud's head office in Solna.

The Gruvon mill has three pulp lines, six paper machines, a coating machine and two flash dryers for drying market pulp. The mill employs 1,140 workers and has a capacity to produce 130,000 tpy of sack and kraft paper, 440,000 tpy of containerboard, and 115,000 tpy of market pulp.
