June 28, 2007 - European fine paper maker M-real said it will increase the prices of its cut-size office paper and business reels by 5-8% as of Sept 1.

The company cited cost pressures in paper production as the factor behind the pricing increases.

M-real recently closed its Wifsta paper mill in Sweden blaming market cost pressures. The closure removed about 170,000 tonnes per year of cut-size office paper and business reels from the market.
