AF&PA Names Donna Harman President, CEO
June 25, 2007 - The Board of Directors of the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) today announced the appointment of Donna A. Harman as the new president and CEO of AF&PA.
Harman joined AF&PA in 2001 as Vice President of Congressional Affairs. She was promoted to Senior Vice President, Policy and Government Affairs in 2006, leading the Association's lobbying and policy efforts. Harman has 25 years of management, policy, and political experience, having worked for two Fortune 500 corporations and the U.S. House of Representatives.
Harman holds a bachelors degree in Public Affairs from Anderson University and a law degree from American University's Washington College of Law. She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, the American Society of Association Executives, and the Society of American Foresters. She also serves as Secretary-Treasurer of the Forest Products Industry National Labor Management Committee.
