Yuen Foon Yu starts-up new testliner machine in China

May 15, 2007 - Voith Paper said that Yuen Foon Yu, the largest producer of testliner and fluting in Taiwan, recently started up a second machine at Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province in China.

The new Voith machine, VCY PM 2, produces high-quality testliner and corrugating medium in a basis weight range of 125-280 g/m.

The product range includes light-weight grades from recycled fibers, as well as kraft topliner made from virgin fiber, Voith said.

The machine, with a wire width of 5,360 mm, has been designed for a maximum daily production of 900 tons. Its design speed is 800 m/min.

PM 2 started-up at the end of March.
