Voith Paper to Expand DIP System at Stora's Hylte Mill in Sweden
Nov. 9, 2006 - Voith Paper said it has been contracted to expand the deinked pulp (DIP) 2 flotation deinking system at Stora Enso's Hylte Mill in Hyltebruk, Sweden.
The Hylte Mill houses four paper machines and has the capacity to produce 830,000 tons of newsprint per year.
According to Voith, the mill plans to increase its current DIP 2 production capacity by 100 tons per day up to 800 tons per day.
The order includes extending the pre- and post-flotation, including cells, piping and pumps. In addition, Voith will provide Hylte with engineering support and will also take over the complete assembly and start-up services.
Voith expects start-up of the expanded system in April 2007.
