Oct. 23, 2006 - Sonoco said that it has completed the acquisition of the assets and Business of The Cin-Made Packaging Group, Inc., a privately held, specialty rigid paperboard composite container and large volumetric composite rectangular drum manufacturer, based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Cin-Made designs and manufactures custom paper-based containers for a number of consumer product company brands serving the lawn and garden, food and beverage, personal care, pet products and gourmet markets throughout North America.
