Stora Enso Names New Director of Wood Supply U.S.
Sept. 28, 2006 - Stora Enso has appointed Andrew Pronga as director of Wood Supply U.S.
Pronga joined the company in June 1990 at the Kraft Division (now Fiber & Energy). He spent 15 years at that facility, assuming roles that exposed him to varied and increasing responsibilities.
From his starting position as a process engineer/relief shift supervisor, Pronga was promoted to quality control supervisor in 1995. In 1996, he was named shift superintendent, stock process, and in 1997 became assistant superintendent, heavyweight fiberline. From 2001 to 2005, Pronga served as stock process superintendent.
Most recently, Pronga was operations leader for Paper Machine 14 at Wisconsin Rapids Mill, his position at the time of this appointment.
